LOL, even though I grew up with Marvel (yes, I think I have Avengers #1), the "Avengers" will always be the beautiful Dianna Rigg, and gentleman Patrick Macnee! TV in the 60's had it's moments, and they were one of them~!

 

That is so true, she treats me well though and things I have bought, she has never really given me a hard time about. She knows I work overtime so she doesn't have to work so much and stay home with the kids, which she loves.

 

It's tough being two working parents, but sounds like you both have a good balance! Keep it up, and things will always work out. Family first, but necessity must be acknowledged!

I was never really into comics as a kid, but I will say these movies are entertaining as hell. I know way more about super hero’s than I ever knew was possible, but they love it so I’m in! I’ve gotten where I really enjoy them too.

 

The Boerne theatre is closed due to sewer stoppage

 

It's a lot of fun. Movies were not capable of what they can do now in the 60's. 2001: A Space Odyssey, took a huge leap - before that, all you had was Star Trek (well loved), and bad TV super-hero shoes. They could not do what the comics could, of course. That really ended with the very first Star Wars, and Lucas hit a benchmark that everyone had to live up to! That was a comic book on the screen. The second installment, I actually saw on the road working, in Logan UT, at a VERY OLD theatre ugraded with "Dolby Sound". I sat in the second row, with the other three kids at the afternoon Matinee!
