I got my kings and rxt pack and debating between option 1 and 2 on the leafs. I am only looking for about 1.5-1.75 of lift out back and I have a snugtop shell with prinsu rack on it and sliders. I have searched but don't see too many pics of option 1. Was hoping to get some pics of option 1 and option 2 installed on some trucks if you have them. Thanks.

Not option 1 or 2 but this will give you an idea.

2” lift up front, Icon RXT option 3.

Before the rear bumper. Maybe 100lb of stuff in bed.

200ish lbs in the rear. ThAts including the weight of the rear Bumper. I had 400 lbs in the bed before and dropped me about 1”

That confirms the numbers put out by Icon, where every 200 lbs equates to about 1/2" drop:

Does that 220lb = 1/2" seem reasonable to assume on option 1? Plan to lift the front 2" on the kings so i may need option 2. I carry about 220-250lbs constant.

Most people choose option 2. I like rake on my truck so this was a no brainer. Good luck.

I like a very slight rake like .5"-.75" at most.

It can be really hard to keep low rake and maintain load capacity...

Why i went with option. 1.5” of rake doesn’t look to bad lol

I've got dakars right now, it's either run with 1.5" rake, or sag like a mofo under load :)

Have you had driveline vibes with that much rake? I found I needed shims and CB drop and still have a little bit to figure out.

Only thing I’ve ever done was the ECGS upgrade.

Hard to imagine no vibration at all when you change the angles on the driveshaft with that great of a lift in the back.

Here's a pic of option 1. Ran option 2 for a year. Swapped over to option 1 to get a feel for it. Hit a big dip and totally flattened the driver's side pack.

    IMG_0499.jpg

Edit: Current config is option 3 on driver's side and option 2 on passenger side. Truck's level side to side. Looking for a pic showing rake since my trucks 2000 miles away right now.

Pics of the flattened option 1 pack.....driver's side and passenger's side. Check the distance from bumpstops to frame. If you use your truck for anything don't go with option 1.

What’s so hard to believe? You live in Virginia go for a ride in my truck. Every truck will be different and I can name numerous people that don’t run shims in the rear. I just got back from cape lookout, beating the rear up with 400lb of gear in the back. The bilsteins 6112/8100 setup did really great dealing with the whoops out there. I have video on my IG if you don’t want to take my word for it BD53AE73-E6D1-4A7F-9337-5E5781A30238.jpg

Yeah 285/70R17. I think I have around 1.25 inch over stock up front and around 2.25 inches in the rear. 2" up front over stock is the max the 3" extended shocks can do for a gen3 (which would be 3" over stock for a gen2). But Accutune recommended staying around 1" over stock or below in front to avoid an unpleasant ride.

Just got king ext’s front and back. I’m planning about 2” up front and option 1 on the rear.
