Mine was acting funny for a bit. A leak somewhere. Compressor would turn on every 5 minutes or so

I’m picking up a new hose on Monday. Now, I just need to find someone willing to swap that out and recharge my AC. I don’t want to do that job. It’s the line that runs all the way to the firewall.

Diff has breather hose to higher location
I run a tank off the compressor with a 150 psi switch. From tank to a manifold with the regulator and air dryer in line wine the arb solenoid from there to locker.
Yes if I leave it engaged for long periods compressor kick o Again
Had jaws gear fix it once but I think it maybe leaking again already. They found the leak. They recommend to run 90 but in no case over 150 he said they will engage at much less. . Why I was seriously asking the question.

It said from 70 to 15o 100 to 150 for fast engagement I've always ran it a little over 90. Engagement has been fine.

    How old is the solenoid?

I had one go bad on me once and it acted funny. Would fail randomly.

Not sure if that would put air in the diff though so maybe not.

It's in the cab behind passage seat I hear it disengage it works great only a few yrs old. The first time I new air was getting in there as just sitting at idle on the trail diff oil was being pushed out the breather into cubby were its relocated to.
Havnt messed with the locker in a few months this just reminded me I need to check all the hoses again a run a test on it.
I will be pulling the driveshaft soon for repair so good time to check it.
