I did something similar to what you are looking to do, the only difference being that I took the V6 off. Everyone knows its a V6. Here is a picture.

I’m back! Today I traded my Highlander after only two months for another Tacoma. This is my third 3rd Generation Tacoma. It’s a SR and will suit my usage just fine. I even got the dealer to swap out steel wheels for 16” SX Package wheels without any additional fee.

As much room as the Highlander afforded my family, I felt so out of place driving it. I also found my wife’s Camry to be way more fuel efficient than the Highlander while also hauling baby gear and my oldest son’s baseball gear in the trunk. We’re going to squeeze into the Tacoma until my infant converts to a forward facing seat.

    I agree with you
The rack looks awesome. Looking to mount of pair of Baja Design S2 pods once I get the racks installed. What other components are needed in to complete the auxilary / reverse light install?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
So complete LT suspension upgrade/overhaul? What made you decide to change everything? If you make it to Sema you have to take your rig. Awesome piece for advertising :hattip:

Do the sidebars extend further out, allowing the rear towers to sit further back towards the tailgate?

Also blacked out my chrome grille bezel and painted the emblem to match the truck.
