Just picked up the last Pro-Tech Half Breed I could find from any reputable dealer online. They're discontinued which is too bad. Its a nice little knife in S35VN, got to use it quite a bit today. Also picked up a Sprint, which is what the Half Breeds blade came from. Gotta stay under 2 inches on any auto knife here in Cali.

 

You are spot on right good sir! I did what you’ve suggested after Christmas, and it does exactly what you said it would. All on top of the fact, it’s a damned good knife, sentiment not withstanding.

 

I have a bugout I don't use any more and was gonna put it on eBay for $80. If you're interested I'll give it to you for a little TW discount. I switched over to my ProTech auto and Benchmade 531.
Edit: I like it a lot, but decided I like knives with a little less belly in the blade, more like the Spyderco style. It's definitely a solid knife though.

 

I prolly spoke too soon. The boost is a fantastic hunting and heavy duty knife, but after carrying a 940-2 the last month I’m blown away. The 940 series might be the best edc benchmade ever made. Shoot me a pm though, highly interested in the bugout sir!

Here are my 2 EDC blades. The Chris Reeve Inkosi is my latest acquisition. I just picked it up on Tuesday. CRKs are my absolute favorite folders, I've gotten to the point where they are all I buy and carry. A bit of a hefty price tag comes with them, but in my opinon, well worth it.
The fixed blade is one that I make. It is my latest model, the Backpacker. I use this thing all the time! It is great for slicing an apple, cleaning a squirrel or gutting fish. If I'm outside it is in my back pocket.

Have a couple around from long ago when we were kids.

 

Scored a Bark River Bravo 1 in A-2 today for $95, been wanting a br for quite a while now so I couldn't pass it up. Convex grind and everything!

 

Geez! One heck of a deal! I don't have a Bravo 1, but I do have a Gunny and Canadian Special. I carried my Gunny for several years and it never let me down. You made a great choice with that blade

 

We have a local liquidation store with a constantly changing inventory. I wandered in without any expectations and low and behold, one of my dream tools. Drooled over the gunny quite a bit too, these knives have quite the reputation!
