    I cannot speak for anyone else but I have the Kicker cs 6 x 9 (3 way 450 peak watts) front door, cs 6.5 round (2 way 300 peak watts) rear door and Subaru Kicker dash tweeters on my entune premium non-JBL and it cranks just fine with no amp. My door speakers were bought at a BestBuy clearance sale 2 years ago. Most people buy them at Crutchfield because they usually include the door and harness adapters needed. As far as Subaru tweeters you can print an ad from ebay or Amazon and your local Subaru dealer will usually price match. This setup completely changed the sound of the factory head unit. After 2 years I am still extremely happy with it.

    My current plan is to get katskinz. But been thinking of only installing the fronts until the little ones are out of car seats (don’t want the indentions of the booster seats in the leather) so I was going to leave the rear just the factory cloth but this is even better. Looks like a great way for easy cleanups. Any pictures after it’s settled? Is the black an actual true black or is it like “weathertech black” (which is actually more a faded grey because I tried that and returned it. Have a swatch on the way hopefully

    Looks clean though

    Those are the same speakers as the non JBL system as well. Premium audio my ass! What a rip off!


    I just replaced my set up with with infinity reference series and an Alpine HU with one of the small accessory in-line amps. What a difference!

    Great setup on the lights BTW. You've given me more to research and add to the endless list of mods...

    I did the Subaru and Crutchfield thing. What made a even bigger difference was installing sound deadening in the doors. Greatly enhanced the sound quality. Especially on the low end, sound wise.
    I used 80 mil. Put it on all doors and behind back seats.
    The floor mats I have are also sound deadening. They have a semi-carbon fiber look to them, way easier to clean.
