Who's rocking the stock wheels on their 3rd gen?

I am! I love the way the stock Sport rims look.

 

Got my 5100/5160 lift on with 285/75s on stocks a couple weeks ago.

 

I too still prefer the stocks over most after markets. Im not a huge fan of the blackouts either tbh. I like the different tones. Id rather spend my money on other upgrades before the wheels.

 

Those black lug nuts and painted logo on the centercap make a big difference!

What is your suspension and tire set up?

 

I guess I do as well, but I got Off Road rims installed on my SR5 so I can do the vinyl blackout. Truck looks completely different compared to the SR5 rims it had.

TBH, I like the wheels w/ some 33's on them so much I think if the unspeakable were to happen I'd try to put these wheels on whatever truck came next. T4R, 1G, etc. They look good.

 

Negotiated with the dealer to swap steel wheels for 16” dark alloy wheels before I took delivery. No additional charge. The difference is absolutely amazing!

Still running stocks on my SR. It’s a lease so I’ll upgrade when I decide if I’ll keep it or go for a 2021 SR5.

 

I got vinyl to cover them. they are made by @PikestacoSister shoot her a message. very helpful and fast delivery!


Edit: jerk putting on my new tires scratched them. the messed up once have since been replaced. They stand up awesome to offroad/weather conditions.

 

I'm liking the stock wheels, did put TRD emblems on the center caps which I think jazzes them up a bit. Will probably get some larger tires. What's a good size for stock wheels?

 

Nothing is wrong with the stock wheels and trim. In fact I think they are pretty damn cool.

 

Wheel bearings, suspension, and steering parts all like stock wheel offsets much more.

 

Stock wheels are working for me.
