yesterday I was driving with my daughter on the way to pick up my son from daycare. There was a guy and girl on a crotch rocket approx 20 yards ahead of us. He was beating on the bike, you could hear it rapping out and shifting. We met at a stop light, me turning left and him going straight. The dude takes off his helmet and hands it to the girl on the back.

My daughter asked why he gave her the helmet. I told her maybe she was scared but u should always wear one. I turn left, he goes straight and I can hear him winding it out again.

As we head back from the daycare, the street is blocked off with fire trucks, ambulance, police, and a med copter.

Come to find out, the dude either hit or laid the bike over into a turning car, not 100 yards from the intersection we were at. The guy and girl were med flighted to ou medical. He passed away of a brain injury and she is on a ventilator and may survive.

It’s crazy how fragile life is, one minute, your having a blast, the next you’re gone. The only good part is he may have saved the girls life by giving up his helment, if she survives.

Hug and kiss your kids, but I have zero sympathy for ass hats that ride dangerously and don't value other's lives. Glad nobody who was just out enjoying the day was killed, and the idiot was. Hopefully the girl pulls through.

Agree it’s good no bystanders were hurt. That’s what they make race tracks for.
I dated a girl for a while and a couple of months after we broke up, she was killed on the back of a motorcycle. Her bf was supposedly doing 110 mph and hit the back of a reg cab truck hard enuff for the driver of the truck to bust his head on the back glass.

So Sad to hear of this. I have two daughters and every time a see a young girl on the back of a bike, I say a little prayer knowing the danger. We all can't help but to see life through our own eyes and situation. His family has now suffered the greatest loss and her's may be saved that. I hope so. All please be careful out there and come home safe..

So sad to hear. Bad for all. Feel more sorry for the person that hit them. They have to live with that the rest of their life and they most likely had nothing to do with accident.

Since no one on here actually saw what happened, and since it happened 100 yards from the intersection he was stopped at, and since it was a car that pulled in front of him, I’ll assume you to be as much an ass as the motorcyclist.

WTF? If they turned in front of a motorcycle and killed them, they most certainly had something to do with it.

U are correct, the car may have pulled out in front not judging the high speed of the bike. I didn’t see the actual crash and haven’t heard the official story. Both parties could have been at fault but the situation was exacerbated (lol) by the guy romping on the bike.

If he was giving her hell, how was he only 20 yards in front of ya?

This. I didn’t when I was younger and it hurt. A lot. Your face dragging across pavement is not a good time. Now that I’m riding again it’s with full armored gear all the time.

I know what my limits of self control are so I don’t have a sport bike that can get me into trouble. If I had the power I’d use it. Same reason I don’t usually buy ice cream, soda or other unhealthy snacks - if they aren’t in my house I can’t eat them all in a short time.
