So I've been experiencing this over the past year. When I hit 40 mph, the truck shifts up. I then apply light gas to do a small acceleration keeping the RPMs between 1000 and 1500, and instead of accelerating, I feel something lightly moving back and forth beneath the floor. I have to give it quite a bit more gas for it to exit this weird "hesitation" phase. Anybody else experience this? (I've taken it to Toyota and they didn't seem to want to acknowledge the issue at first, so I went to another dealership but still couldn't get it fixed)

    Torque converter shudder.
Unfortunately it is "Normal". Have you done TSB? TSB may make it better, but not completely fix.

I have not. Which TSB is it? I really do want to address it.

Both are the same as far as ECU calibration.
But, you need to convince them to do tsb.

I've had this done on my 19. It still does it with the latest update. My dealer is going to open an issue with Toyota.

Yeah I'm not willing to drop $700 on OV-tune just yet
