I removed my fabtech bumpstop drop bracket and bought extended bolts and drilled a hole through a couple hockey pucks to act as the spacer. So far been a great setup. I’m going to however drop my fabtech bracket off at a local welder and have him remove a bit so It’s cleaner than a hockey puck...

In the pics, my truck isn’t on jack stands and that’s the only amount of gap in between the stock bump and LCA. 2nd gen Taco with fabtech 6” basic lift. Looks like if I put the superbumps in, there won’t be any space/gap in between it and the lca.

In this pic you didn’t have the bracket there, is the bracket required? I’ll have to look at mine again. Any pics while the truck is in the ground? How much space did you have in between the lca and bump stop?

    Thanks

    6" pro comp
Posted on another thread about this but just coming to the DB guys for some more insight. 20x12 -44 rims with 35x12.5 tires forced me to crank these crappy keys down on the pro comp coil over assemblies to get enough height to clear them. The shock is essentially maxed with 1/2" droop and the thing rides like a pogo stick.

Three options to go from here, let the keys up and add a 2.5" coil over spacer up top, new coil over assemblies all together, or narrower rim. each has pros and cons. If I keep the shitty pro comp COAS and add a lift spacer ill have to replaced them in a year or two anyways because they will be leaking but this option is cost effective. The other downside to the lift spacer option is steeper CV angles. New assemblies would fix the ride quality but not the rubbing problem. narrower rims wouldn't look as good and I'd eat a lot of money trying to sell these and it still may rub after. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. IMG_1643.jpgIMG_1644.jpeg.jpgIMG_7571.jpg

So where are you rubbing at? On the cab mount itself? I Know there is a total cab mount relocation kit that you can buy that really maximizes your clearance over the regular cab mount chop most guys do. Also alignment can really make a difference. There is a thread on here that breaks down the alignment and how it places your tire. You can see what your current alignment numbers are and read that thread and see what alignment specs would fit best for you.

Rubbing on the cab mount. Looks like this may be the ticket to go with. I'd really rather not go higher with the truck and increase those CV angles. I'd also have to go to 5" blocks in the rear then would have to deal with possible driveline vibration and all that BS. This would be the best of both worlds. I don't know as much as I should about alignment but I'll poke around the forums and see what I can find to read up on that. Appreciate it man.

Yup. Still running the original Dirt Logics too. Just rebuilt them and had them re-valved a few years ago to help with bottoming out on trails.

Does the sway bar limit down travel?? I have the fox resi dsc so I’m hoping I can stiffin up the front to minimize body roll.

You will gain more down travel especially in off camber situations. I don't run much pre load though either. My coils are actually 16" 600lb too. I discovered that when I had them rebuilt by a friend that works with a lot of KING products. With adjusters you should able to stiffen up the body roll. When I swapped over to outboard 14" rear shocks and 63" leafs my truck actually lost a lot of the body roll. Picks in my profile if you want to see my results.

Nice! I might have to go with that setup. Where did you get your leafs? And did you fab the outboard bracket yourself or is there a kit?
