Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

It cleared my values. My truck went back to crap after they tried. Just gotta reflash the truck again.

 

What was the purpose of reflashing your truck if the tune isn’t affected? Or does them clearing the learned values do something to the tune? I’m confused... lol

 

It wouldn't be affected, but if the values are cleared, it would go through the learning cycle again for a few hundred miles.

- Read RAM (special function needed for some trucks for some upcoming features)
- Reset LV ( Reset all learn Values )
- Reset AT (Reset Special TCM Learn Values )

 

I can only imagine how many people are sending tickets in asking when it will be released.

 

@OVTune , I've been on this thread since day one. When you have time can you summarize the difference between the very first release and now? Would give a lot of people an idea of just how much time and work I know you're put into this tune. You could've stopped a long time ago and said good enough. You even bought a truck just for testing. No other tuners I know of listen to their customers as much as you do and work to fix the problem. Thank you

I think it needs the 32-bit version, even if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows. I got this error, even after installing the 64-bit version, and it was resolved when I installed the 32-bit version.

 

@OVTune Will there be a guide/explanation of what the different “clear value” functions are and when it is recommended to use them?
