badass. these tires in 285/75r16 look so beefy in every photo I see. And for how light they are and the money! man I may have to pull the trigger on these. That sidewall alone has me sold. #sexy

ah shit youre right i just saw that they are 17" wheels. Thanks! the 285/75r16 appear meaty too:

I think they would look killer on my first gen with a 2.5-3' lift

These just seem like such a practical choice for an aggressive looking tire without it being a dedicated mud terrain. I love the STT pro but I cant justify needing a tire that aggressive for daily use. considering the Ridge grappler but every 2500 pickup truck I see in town has 20" wheels wrapped with low profile nittos... I Just think these may be the tire for me considering The North carolina off roading I will be doing and the tarmac I will be spending 90 percent of my time on. I only drive about 5k miles a yr too so there's that to consider also. The ST maxx comes highly regarded but i hear isnt terrbily good in the rain and are a bit heavy. I also am not in love with the looks of them. Sorry for the rant but I keep coming back to these XLTs...I always prefer choosing function over form and these fit the bill nicely. Choosing tires is tough ! ha!

I had ST maxx tires before and didn’t like how heavy they were. I am completely happy with my XLT’s I have had the AT3 LT’s on the sequoia for 15k miles and I love them as well.

Pretty happy with them thus far, but need to spend more time with them offroad. Had them down to 15psi and they were hooking up pretty good, but going to try a few PSI lower next trip.

You described a similar thought process I’ve been going through. I been Considering 285/75r16 STT pro, XLT, Falken wildpeak, Yokohama G003. I currently have 265 ST Maxx. They’re pretty good but like you said...heavy. I finally decided to go with these AT3 XLT’s. The 285’s weight about a pound less than my current st Maxx that are a size smaller.

I wanted 295s on 16s and the options were very limited. Only two option i liked were the ko2 and at3 xlt. went with the xlt because the ko2 were on backordered with no date. no offroading yet, but so far i really liked them on the road. I feel like i made a good decision.

Weezy, It looks like you got the tire size matched perfectly to those wheels! It looks great! Do you mind if I ask what size tires those are? Your rims are 17" dia x 8.5" width right? Thx

Thanks! That is correct. I stuck with the stock tire size my truck came with, 265/65/17.

If you’re interested in the Icon Rebound wheels, PM @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc and they will hook you up!

I got 3 of 4 mounted. Turned out one of the wheels from that TRD sale arrived with a bent lip.
