Ya I’m not sure what it is. Hoping that jalapeño and not green pepper. Green peppers do not agree with my body anymore. I pay for it every time I eat them.

4-2-.5 ribs. Instead of the usual apple juice I went with butter, worcestershire, paprika, soy sauce, and brown sugar.

Tasty for sure. Asked the wife which way she preferred and she couldn't decide so I figure I'll rotate this into the mix!

Nice work, did it give that sort of Asian flavor profile to them?

Not as much as I would have liked. I think next time I might go all soy, no worcestershire, plus some green onions. I love that combo.

    Ok. Final thoughts...

Huntspoint gold wagyu... Meh. I'd rather do prime any time. Was super marbled and I think it was my inexperience with true wagyu. The majority of flat was dry. Not sure if I under or overcooked it. Had that oily rich texture of beef ribs but lacked moisture. Soft meat, just meh.

The portion of flat under the point... Was awesome. Super tender juicy. Just a small amount unfortunately. Point was super tender, like too much fatty meat. Just not my jam.

If I had more practice with it, maybe. But I ain't paying to play. I'd say I'm 50/50 on this cook.

    Pics are good though!
. And the unicorn dust barq was soooo good again! Love this stuff!

And the beans as always, delicious.
