    Holy C5 Batman! I just saw the turn, then lost him, and traffic got knarly at 37 S. But when we got back to "North" on 10, we could see the tower, and I didn't see him. If he was UNDER you, that is Commerative Air Force flying height! Under you!!!!!! Hey, Carol actually got to see "That's All Brother" (C-47 that led DDay invasion flight) on Thursday. Got a wing wave (small - not like the fighters!), but they know we are down below!

    I forgot to mention that we sort of forgot to remember that Mark had those spacers in the front, so, being like we all are, I said SURE, PUT EM IN! When it came down off the jacks, I thought it was still up ON the jacks. But I will be safe chasing you all on those cool country road routes. And I can park in the big boy lot! Not mods. just very slowly executed small changes!

    No, not really. Next confirmed thing up is that I will get Matt Tru-Trac pumpkin for a deal, and since he will have already swapped out his old for what he is up to, Texoma can just swap them out. My pumpkin picks up the Tru-Trac (perfect for me), and gains like 150K in mileage use!

    And we might do a wheel tire swap thing (but don't hold your breath), but I would have to find someone that wanted my Chromes (I kind of like being the only one in Texas with them!).

    You guys are a good influence! I see what you go through, and go "Aw, HELL naw!" Two months later, you have solutions! You are GREAT!

    Nope! And Yep! And that's all tricky. I got the truck at 190K, and been through all this, those tires were new! I got closer to 196K now. They are 16". I like being the only chrome in town, sometimes. So, while there are some tempting things on the table, TPMS, being able to SELL the chromes with those new tires, etc..... make it a hard to do thing. Not too many people like the chromes like I do - not modern. The wheels I mean, oh hell, me either!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
    Put it this way.
    Retired - Low Budget - spend on vacation not replacing perfectly good 6K old tires!
    Unless someone wanted the chromes and tires at a reasonable price, I have no financial reason/wherewithal to "upgrade". I think they fit in there just fine, and they are M/T with excellent tread that will do everything I want to do.

    Everyone can laugh at the bug (I am), but nothing without a plan, young man! Thanks for liking the look!

    I respect that. I'm going to squeeze as many miles as I can out of my current tires before I buy some 285's and a good lift. I bought my 265's before I leveled my truck, and the front tires look kinda awkward after the leveling took place.

    Pre leveled:

    Hey guys. I have my stock Goodyear Wrangler ATs for sale. They’re 265/70/16 and have 30K miles on them and Mfgd in 2016. I recently upgraded and want to sell these. Any suggestions on best place to list them? Just wanting to get about $120 for them.

    FYI: 1 has a nail-hole in the tread that needs repair but not a big deal.

    Truck looks fine as can be to me, tires look good, not too much lean. I only have a tweak more than I would like, but totally livable. I just have to make my knees help me get into it again!

    I struggled to adapt to the new height after I leveled for the first couple of days. I can get in and out without using my side steps efficiently, but my regular passengers from school struggle to get into my truck lol. I keep telling them "if you struggle now, wait till I lift it 3", and add the 285's." :rofl:

    Matt says we can remove those front spacers and I would be level. I want to try a road trip first, because it doesn't feel that bad, and I don't want rocks of any sort finding my soft underbelly! No armor, no crawling, no mud!
