Touchless carwashes were fine with mine too. Used to go to a roller brush one and saw it catch on my snorkel and start to flex it a little. Everything was fine, but never again.

Good to know. I am seriously considering a snorkel in the near future but love being able to drive through a car wash.

Drive through car washs are were it's at.i think there one of the few reasons that my paint isnt peeling yet.
I made the mistake of going through a roller wash with a light bar and almost had it ripped off. So I know getting a snorkel it was gonna be a no go with the roller ones.
I've found 2 touch less washes . One in mesa and one in Gilbert. If you come across anymore in your travels let me know.

Got it dirty today, I might have launched it, the dura bumps worked good.. The shock shafts were all wiped clean. She was a beast out in the dirt and in the loose hills. 20190428_152028.jpg

That’s awesome man. Congratulations! That was a sweet deal. I thought about it for a bit but I’m only running 16” and my tires have more than half tread left on them.

The struggle was there a have a basically new set of tires and a good set of used all for 16 "rims. But I wanted to goto a larger size tire and I already have a buyer for what I have. Also there are way more sizes available for the 17"rim the tires just cust more is all.

How much trimming have you done to fit the 285's that your running?

I’ve noticed that fact about the 17” tires available.

I didn’t have to trim at all to go to 285s with the LT installed prior to going to 285.

New tires have been ordered. Went conservatively with 285/70/17. Hopefully they don't rub to bad . I need to get to trimming.
