Yes that's exactly what my interior looks like. Very similar truck but I don't have the V6 or rear diff locker....mine has couple thousand less miles though. I'm right outside Philly so that truck is close by. Not too many in the northeast stay that nice it seems.

Look at the frame on this one in the last pic

darnit, now I gotta find one of these models to test the seats out against mine
they appear to be quite different and are SR5 seats, too

was your '97 frame in that same/similar condition?

Try them out they might be at least marginally better, worth a shot lol.

My 97 wasn't nearly as bad, I was actually surprised when it failed. I remember it having surface rust but no visible holes. The hammer went through on the inside of the frame near the front leaf shackles, which I've since learned is the common spot to check.

I'm not sure how much the Craigslist trucks actually sell for, but the ones I see posted around here disappear from the list. So they are either selling or trading for something.

I think it's GREAT to see Tacoma owners in this club take so much pride in their vehicles. It definitely helps keep Tacoma resale values high all around the country.

the true phenom may only be realised in the next decade when those 3rd gen 'lemons' that are out there start hitting the used market and the well-kept & maintained 1st gens rival their used market price

This one sold new for $24,173 and almost 20 years and 69k miles later, it sells used for over $10k. That's some GREAT resale value.
