    They are both fixed ;).
I think purple is more her color, so I'm looking to order one.
Oh and that's not the Taco  we took the Chevy and Tank usually drives!

Yup, he lost his manhood just over 2 months ago :D...
RME, you should remember that..it was the same time Chubby passed away.

They are a perfect match for each other, thanks

Sorry FoxySandChick--I was thinking of the other boys in the neighborhood on having their way with "Lil britches"...I do remember Tank having his surgery and the passing of Chubby....didn't mean to bring up any memories...but I do wonder what Chubs would have thought about another little kid in the house...somehow I think he's watching right now and smiling..knowing the good work he did and left behind:proposetoast:

The pictures are a couple months old so he's quite a bit bigger now and his spots and nose have filled out quite a bit more. We bought him from a breeder out of Flagstaff and could not be more happy with him! He's such a smart lil' fella and much calmer than the stereotypical Jack Russel

I can't comment on the exact breeds, but-

I've had 4 Malemutes, and 2 Golden Retrievers, and 2 Golden Ret/Lab crosses (AKA Golden Lab). I've also had two wolf hybrids, but we won't include them in this discussion.
While Mals are typically more workmanlike in their demeanor than Huskies, they share the same independent mentality of any Northern Breed. This makes them tougher to train and absolute boneheads until they hit about three years old. It's almost as though the light switch closes, and they become very intelligent and workable. They're fiercely loyal to their family (in some cases to only one person in the family) but maintain an aloof disposition when compared to other dogs. Left to their own devices at younger ages they can be a house wrecking crew on four legs.
Labs, Golden Labs, and Golden Retrievers are, as noted above, much more people oriented and trainable from a younger age. After the three year mark I wouldn't say either breed has an edge in intelligence, but the Labs and Goldens are going to be much more eager to please than the Northern Breeds will ever be.

Both types are chow hounds and will happily stuff themselves to poor health if allowed. Grooming is important to the health of both dogs, but obviously the Lab will need a bit less brushing, and your home will have fewer furballs floating around.

There's a lot more to the comparisonm, but you can do a lot of online research to see which will fit your style better.

Best dog ever, she used to bring me beer until she figured out she could just bite through the can and drink it herself

Oh my bad, haha none of the boys in the neighborhood are going to have their way with my baby girl!
No worries about the memories, I think about Chubs all the time and we talk about him often too. I think he is happy that his little buddy has company again and I'm sure proud of him for tolerating Tank as well as he did. Thank you for the kind words. :)

Parker is a little cutie, hope he stays more mellow than most JRT's! ;)

Orvis, that is a very handsome pup and looks like a pretty smart one too.

    :D

I have a good friend with a beautiful Rotty that will also open the fridge and bring him a beer... but the guy doesn't deserve it - he barely drinks!

For his sake, I hope so too! Momma wants to snip him sooner than later unless I come up with serious plans for breeding LOL

Thanks Charli, she is the best rescue I could ever thought to have. They are such a perfect match for each other and get along so well. She has some minor issues, but we are working with her. Nothing like getting a new pup who is house trained, knows basic commands and doesn't destroy the house! They play and play and play :goingcrazy:

Had to rush Jaeger to the Vet/Hospital today. He randomly threw up then just fell over on his side and then when I was carrying him to the truck, crapped all over. I am really stressed about it. He has to stay there over night. Way too expensive! Just waiting to hear back on the blood test now..................
