So the guy bought a used paint sprayer from you when all he had to do was go down to HF and pick up a new one and save $15. For some reason that doesn’t sit well with me

So it's the seller's fault that the buyer is too lazy to check the value of something before buying it?

I agree that if I was the buyer, that would have never worked...but I do research on almost anything I buy beyond groceries. Also, you always have the "I wouldn't step into a HF store if they paid me" crowd. If you're that closed minded and you pay 15 more than new price for a used paint sprayer, then it serves ya right.

The type of person would sell a busted or rusted tacoma on clist as “excellent condition” and charge a premium.

But it’s the buyers fault for not inspecting each moving component huh.

They’re called scammers, and I’d expect more from TW users

For all we know he used a 20% coupon and saved 47 bucks from the original price $215. Turned around and sold it for $190 making a few bucks in the end. That price is still cheaper than the normal price. Also, if someone is willing to shell out money without knowing the value of an item then it is on them. Whenever I look on online postings I always research what I am getting.

That’s a make belief story to help validate unethical actions. Maybe it’s a 3rd gen thing

What the guy did was rip some dude off to make $15, when he could have jus bought it new and saved $15

I think you’ll find that business strategy and mindset won’t pan out for you in the end

Anything you are selling is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

If your buying you need to do some research.
It's not the seller's fault for finding someone willing to pay what their asking

In this case the the seller full-on 100% deceived the buyer, knowing damn well buyer could have saved time and money and got a NEW product just down the road.

So you’re telling me you’d sell a rust bucket tacoma on its last leg of life as excellent condition and charge a premium?

“well it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay billy”
