Tacoma camping

Hey fellas,
Had a few questions you might be able to answer…
1) Anybody use one of those “bedrugs” in there ride?
Does it do all their site promotes?, insulate, softness etc…
2) my leer cap came in raw fibreglass…, other than LizardSkin, how can I eliminate condensation when I sleep in the bed in colder weather?
Be forewarned, I spent all my money on the truck purchase, very limited funds to move forward for golden solutions…

Well, first you are calling it "camping" and everybro knows that it's called "overlanding" now. In order to properly overland, you need to get sponsors, that way you don't have to worry about pinching pennies.

Additionally, you seem like you actually want to spend time sleeping in your truck because...fun. again, everybro knows you should spend the majority of your time, wearing flannel or course, at the best coffee shop in town, PLANNING your overloading adventure, while looking out the window at your fully kitted out Tacoma sitting in the paved and lined parking lot.
Once that trip is planned, simply drive a few miles out of town, put your truck in a position that shows a scenic background, and take hundreds of pics to post on your Instagram account. All this can be accomplished right beside the paved road.
Then go back into town and meet in the hotel bar with your broddies to talk about the epic adventures you had while reading your IG comments.
That's how people "camp" today lol.

#2. Yep...as everyone said, you're going to need to ventilate (more specifically, cross-ventilate). Maybe it goes without saying, but every time you exhale you're breathing out moisture. When that moisture hits a colder solid surface (in this case, the underside of the cap) it turns back into liquid state. Even if you insulate the underside of the cap, it's not going to quit condensing unless you heat up the entire interior of the bed area, which you'd likely have a difficult time doing with just body heat. And please don't make a poor decision and try to heat the interior of the bed with one of those propane heaters if it's not properly vented as well...that's a choice that won't end well. Bottom line...you're going to need to ventilate.
