    Morning.
Later today I'm headed to my friends body shop (he helps with mech repairs there) to rewire his plow lights.
You have to see the spaghetti he has under the hood
Found out I may be able to install my lift at the same location :)

Morning all. Finally took the time this weekend to finalize my phone holders and get them printed up. Shown without the magnets for clarity.IMG_20190427_073200523_HDR.jpg

It limits the rotation of the vents, but we rarely touch them anyway, so I figure it's fine.

Sunday May 5th. I'll post something here once he gives final word on time, etc, since I think some of us will meet in Waterbury McDs, exit 25 on 84 and head up.

Went e-shopping swim spas (long hot tub w/ pump to create water current to swim in place).
Finally found the prices of Endless Pools & SwimEx, 20 - 30k$. Ouch.
Anyone got any lower cost options beside join the YMCA for $1k or so per year?

    Well I re-geared on Friday:bananadance:
That was a hell of a weekend!
I'm actually tired of driving... But all my rides were excellent.
Special thanks to @ECGS for getting everything done I asked them to do and also for shipping my spare axles back to me.
    Long story:rofl:
I also got to hangout with @fatfurious2 which was gracious enough to let me stay at his place for 2 nights:cheers:

I also need to correct what some people are saying about the RPMs when you switch to 4.88 gears.
    @75 MPH on a 2011 with the V6 on 33" tires I am only at 2600-2700 RPMs.
I've seen people talking about 3700 RPMs,
I don't know if I missed something or what but I'll try later to find and fix those posts.
I also still need to get the 35s back on to see what that is, but I have a feeling it is going to be similar.

    The re-gear is amazing too.
I haven't been off-road with it yet but the truck goes up my hill (9%grade) in overdrive, 5th gear automatic, at 35 mph with no issues and no switching to lower gears.
    It is pretty wild.
But! 1st gear becomes pretty much useless on the road.
At normal conservative driving conditions on road it goes from 1st to 5th by 35MPH.
The only time my RPMs become higher is at 65mph, I'm at 2500.

OK, not sure what this will produce but my wife and I are Florida overlanders but will be bringing the truck to CT for the first two weeks of May. Kinda like to explore anything that CT has to offer. Looking for folks that want to lead or just trail recommendations which we will do on are own. If it makes a difference we will be in Litchfield County.

If u are looking at the pics above his truck is actually going about 5mph more than the speedo says.
It's because a larger tire travels faster.
There's a write up about it somewhere I'm sure.

Removed the spaghetti from under the hood.
I also have a place to install the lift. He will help me as payment for fixing the plow lights.
I don't have after pictures because I hid everything and removed about ten feet of extra wire.
