Welcome! I'm also a fellow Floridian along with @YamaDirtrider and @Stig. This is the CO B.S. where most of the B.S.ing(Obviously) goes on. We "try" to keep the event thread "clean"

    What's the final price?

My indel-b was great until I wanted dual zone. Then my Dometic 65 dual zone was awesome. Guessing either of those brands might be less expensive...just won't get as many expo points. And I believe indel b uses the same compressor as arb?

I know that Dometic makes the ARB fridges, but to ARB's requested specs. Not sure what all is different but most reviews I have read and a lengthy post on expeditionportal has me thinking Dometic and ARB are about the same, other than price.

So my choices right now are,

    Dometic CFX 50W for $719
ARB Fridge Freezer Series II 50Qt for $790

    Both free shipping.

"The ARB 60L/63Q averaged 0.638 Amps per hour.

The Dometic/Waeco CFX50L averaged 0.92 Amps per hour,

The Dometic/Waeco CFX50L used almost 50% more power than the Larger ARB 60L/63Qt, As for the ARB 47L/50Qt it uses anything from 0.59 to 0.639 when set to 3*c on 12v and depending on how it is loaded it can and will use even less Amperage."

In all honestly at the moment I'm leaning toward the dometic. I've decided to use the funds I put away for a rear bumper to get a fridge. Seeing as it will benefit me greatly on my upcoming 2 1/2 camping trip

I purchased this same fridge at regular price shipped for $642 a year and a half ago. Don't think it's been updated since then.
    https://amzn.to/2GEafoX

Now it's $891..the cost of being an in demand item.

Well...... one has a dash in between the CFX and 65DZ and the other doesn’t.

I thought you said you had been researching this?

Did you really use the freezer part that much? I feel like I wouldn't use a freezer section for just camping
