Ok, I just bought my truck 3 weeks ago and love it (after all the problems were worked out with the dealership that is)

well, it is an 03 double cab 4x4. It has the rear locker so I am asuming it is also a TRD. Here is the question I am having... When pricing the trucks on KBB it would only let me select either TRD or SR5 not both at once. well my truck also has SR5 badges.. it is entirely plausible that the first owner got some TRD decals put on... not a big deal really but I am wondering if it is possible to have a TRD and an SR5 package on the same truck?

and since I have the rear locker (switch at least) does that mean it is a TRD?

thanks and sorry if it is a dumb question.

Yeah I had the same thing happen when I was pricing out my 1st gen. I bought it new from the dealership in 04 as a TRD off road which had the sr5 badges as well. I'm sure yours is the same.

Not sure about the Gen 1 trucks, but Gen 2, TRD trumps the SR5 package if that makes sense. TRD has all the stuff the SR5 and then some.

    Hi Doug,

Well, if I am on the Internet (at 9-10 am) then I am not working... which means I am not earning! LOL

I did have a valve job* to do today, so that was a little something.
    (* sprinkler valve, not automtive)

How about you... are you retired or just waiting for some jobs, like me?

yup the sr5 is only a package that makes it look like a trd but not have the kool stuff the that trd has.. The pre runner is the one that has the sr5 along with a few other odd balls.. So your truck is a trd cuz the pre runner also sr5 dose not come this 4wd. (08
