    I used the knife attachment and used jb weld plastic bonder or whatever it’s called- let it set for 5 mins before I applied just In case it did drip

    I was able to get in on the total stage 2 lights so I have my set of stage 1 for sale, I just received them 2 days ago and they are brand new. If you are local to the Bay Area I want $123 for it which is what I paid, if it needs to b shipped I would like another $5 for shipping

    I have seen you posting for awhile. I think we both missed out on the drop a few weeks ago but I had just barely joined in the wait before that. Plus I have a set of Stage 2 on the way so I would rather not have someone miss out on one they want.

    Yeah. I don't want to wait for the next Stage 1 drop. I was going to go with Stage 1 originally because of needing to mod the light and partly because of cost but I am sure I will be happy with the Stage 2.

    Excited that I got stage 2 but not going to lie: having to modify the housing is daunting. There's been plenty of guidance in this thread but it's still spooky. Part of me wants to trade for a stage 1...the rest of me wants to go for it and get that sweet, sweet brightness.

    I modded a set of tails the other day for S2, and it was about 2min per light(plus drying time) although I have done a ton of them and an ultrasonic knife helps. But if you use a soldering iron tip and go slow it’s very easy
