    Hi everyone,

    Bought my 2013 back in late January. I specifically wanted a 2012-2015 access cab, 4x4, 4-cylinder, 5-speed. Being this picky, it took me a while to find one. This nice silver streak mica example popped up on the Toyota dealer’s website down in Greenville NC on a Thursday, and by midday Friday I was headed down there with a helpful friend to take a look at it. Good thing I didn’t delay, because they had several calls about the truck while we were out test driving, and I was negotiating a price. Made the deal and drove it back to Virginia Beach.

    Before buying the Tacoma I sold my ’95 Dodge Dakota 4x4 V8 5-speed that I bought new. After 24 years I decided I needed something more reliable that also got better gas mileage. Modern conveniences such as “electric windows”, “electric locks”, and “Bluetooth” are great to have, too.

    I’ve already installed fog lights and a no-drill license plate bracket; that will probably be the extent of mods for right now.

    I really enjoy browsing through the Tacoma World website, and I appreciate all the helpful information folks have posted!
