Holy hell...a young guy about my stature put it all into perspective for me. I am that 40yr old dude now. The one that I used to help rekindle his youth.

Hmmm....

I've got the older style that Velcros around handguard and I'm not a big fan. It worked awesome the first few times. Ever since then, it seems to prevent the brass from ejecting properly and I have to clear a stovepipe more often than anyone should. Maybe I need to pick up the picatinny style....

....though I haven't been shooting in far too long.

Yup... I reloaded for awhile. Then I just started putting them in a big jar outside my front door.
When you walk to someone’s door and see an bunch of 50 cals and 308 shells, you know this house is not to be messed with.

I have been there, just gotta make sure I got some spotters to get the boat down the trail.

 

Yeah I'm going to get a location to meet up closer than the original plan of meeting at Ingles. So I'll look for one tomorrow, there are a few abandoned gas stations in Morganton so I just need to find a central one

 

Word. Keep in mind I live on the southside of ATL, so it will take me a bit longer to get thru traffic in the early am.
