Keep in mind, that it makes a lot of soup! I cooked it for 6 guys at work and still have some left over

I’ve never had one apart but it likely uses a relay switch to control voltage to the element to begin with, like a household oven or electric surface element.

Thermostat tells the PCB when temp is reached, element shuts off. When the thermostat range senses low temp it’ll turn the element back on (on high power, only has one setting).

Setting the thermostat to low, medium or high just changes the durations of on/off cycles.

Tried a thing with the pressure cooker. Pork loin with SPG, covered with a jar of Hell on the Red. Aka salsa. 30 minutes high pressure, natural release. Start to finish was 1:15.
Shredded the pork, put on a tortilla and covered with extra sharp cheddar. I took the pic before I added sour cream. It don't look like much in the pic, but damn it was good! Would have added scallions but I don't have any.
Cheap meal, easy, and super delicious. I will be doing this again.
I imagine this could be made in a CP, just takes longer. The pic does not do this meal justice.

Made home-made spaghetti-o’s for our little guys with bite-sized Turkey meatballs; came out great...
Omitted the salt and added parm and used reduced sodium stock...

I didn’t know they made spaghetti-o noodles on their own. Now I have to go and find some.

Not sure what manufacturer makes them but were sold as store brand “rings” at our local grocery store.
In the past we’ve used Ditalini pasta but these were better.
