But Pablo again has me thinking about Toytecs, mainly because when i asked how many times they had been rebuilt he said a big fat "0"...

Nice!!! I grew up on a 79' Dayrcuiser. We had a turbo on it at one point and blew up it up. Put in a good solid 454 after that and it ran for 15 years w/o a problem. We still have it in the family, I'm just too far away to enjoy it still.

 

I grew up on them too, and STILL managed to buy one. Once this Ferd turd blows up- I'll replace it with a 4 bolt main 454 and go ape shit with bolt ons.

 

why couldnt you rebuild a Toytec 2.5 coilover?

They used to be nonserviceable, they are basically an upcycled 5100

2.5’s are rebuildable, others are not.

Kinda hard to say they’re great and have never been rebuilt when many of what they sell are not serviceable.

 

I needed something to do yesterday, fun times, we ended up picking two barrels for Empire Liquor in Plano/Allen.
