I'd break both beads, set it up on the table, (Coates rim clamp machine), and dismount the outer bead. At that point the inner bead would 'settle' back and become stuck and I would have to take the wheel/tire back off and break the inner bead again.

With the inner bead in the wheel recess, I would have to hold the tire up constantly. If I ever let it go, it would settle and become stuck again.

I've never had that problem with any other wheels... IDK...?

Not sure if this counts but I’m proud of my beer fridge in the garage.

 

Got my pedestrian prod back from powder coating today. Finally I look a little different then the 8-9 other tacos in my area.

 

Swapped my shitty old carpet for black vinyl
Been wanting to do this for awhile.

 

Is your pedestrian prod from AVID offroad?

 

I totally forgot to take a picture, but I couldn’t find any abs plastic at Lowe’s so I just used the bottom a Lowe’s bucket. I took out the stock tweeters and traced the mount, drilled a hole with the largest spade bit I had, and filed it out until the tweeter slipped in. Worked out perfectly. If you look up “tacoma tweeter mount” on Amazon or google, that’s exactly what it turned out like.
