I have driven quite a few different vehicles and I just gotta say....this dam Tacoma windshield has got to have the highest kill percentage out of them all for bugs.

I just can’t seem to keep this thing clean from bug guts. It’s not a trivial amount, these darn bugs are all over the windshield.

You guys have the same problem?

*edit* this post is in jest, just wanted to see if I was the only one who was surprised by how many more bug guts I gotta deal with.

I suffer from this as well. Very severely so. I am wondering if anybody has installed a bug deflector and has any recommendations

    Unable to duplicate customer concern....

I'll agree though, if my Tacoma and previous Ram 2500 were to drive side by side down the same road the Ram would have one bug on the windshield and the Taco would have 20. Oh well, I guess that's what glass cleaner was made for :notsure:

Is there a recall for this? At least a TSB?

Dealership should offer to buy back the truck. Lemon law, or some such.

A can of Spray-Way Glass Cleaner and a roll of paper towels and you are good to go, I hate a dirty windshield and probably clean mine 5 or 6 times a week.

This would actually be under the "Fly-back" law. Article 1 Section BS: Whereas, fly would come into contact with front facing glass at any speed would void all Lemon Law conditions in conjunction with any cool off period purchased during time of delivery is determined void.

In California, were are now experiencing the worst bug problem that we've had in quite a long time due to how much rain we got. No sarcasm. I hate to ever wash my truck right now because driving to work will destroy all the nice work I put into it.

Something like this should do the trick.....

I all seriousness though, the only solution I have found is to just carry a can of foaming cleaner and a microfiber towel.

You should drive an FJ Cruiser if you want see a windshield bug magnet! That windshield is damn near 90 degrees and catches everything.
