    got the truck running yesterday and put a fresh tank of 93 in it. excited to start figuring out this tuning stuff!!! gonna rain for a while tho. and she doesnt usually come out in the rain.

    I know, it's funny how many different purposes one vehicle can be used for. My truck specifically comes out in inclement weather. Seems like the worse it is out there, the better the truck performs in comparison to others.

    so does the laptop have to be connected to the MPVI2 in order to even open the tune? im guessing so since everytime i try otherwise it fails.

    Id be inclined to keep shift scheduling for fault stock. I am going to do some "work" at work here shortly on an excel doc that im going to share here that has driveshaft output speeds vs real speeds vs what gear to make things easier to tune trans shift points.

    Okay thanks, I have the fault stock and have been slowly adjusting the Normal. Its working really well and the truck drives a lot better. Obviously everyone will have their own thought on how it should shift. Looking forward to your findings and post.

    You just need the MPVI2 plugged into the laptop via USB. You don’t have to be connected to the truck.

    I set them to be the same.
