Removed the yellow floor mat sticker.
I don’t trust what dealers make techs do.

There is another bulb he made still working in a firehouse somewhere too, the filament was huge in that thing.

turning on and off an incandescent light bulb will reduce its life span. the metal heats up and expands when you turn it on
and contracts when you turn it off. all this flexing will eventually break the filimant. leaving it on would be best for it long term.

i believe these satellites have solar panels on them to recharge the batteries. since in space there is no day or night it will
    constantly charge the batteries.

Some even have nuclear power sources.

An energized incandescent light bulb filament is subjected to constant flexing although minute due to AC current at 60Hz...the filament flexes 60 times per second. This constant flexing also contributes to burnout.

 +1 on the Odyssey. Been using the tiny PC680 in my track cars for years mostly for the weight savings (15.4 lbs vs. 45+ stock) but their durability has me sold. Have had one in a IS300 for about 7 years and the battery is still going strong.

Bought my Tacoma a couple months ago and the first mod I did was get an Odyssey. Not worth saving a few bucks to be stranded anywhere.
The PC1400 is a little closer to the stock battery size if you don't want to use a spacer, but the stock tie-down still doesn't fit the top of the Odyssey very well (only making contact in a small area near each edge) so I went with the Off-Grid tie-down: https://www.**************/collections/battery-trays/products/oge-machined-aluminum-tiedown.
It isn't custom made for the Odyssey (doesn't fit the width snug) but its a nice piece and the entire bar makes contact with the top of the battery.

Day and night are subjective for satellites. Some have a 90 minute orbit and have 8 x ~45 minute nights in 24 hrs. Geosynchronous is 1/1 but its day is longer than night because it’s further out and spends a smaller proportion of the orbit in the earths shadow.

that is true, but i was under the impression that we were talking about going out past the local satellites. (flights to other planets)

"Look at the battery cells on the long term flights to other planets that are still sending signals back after numerous years."

Ah, missed the " long term flights" from the earlier post and "satellites" had me thinking orbitals instead of interplanetary craft like voyager. Once they reach another planet if they orbit they'll again have day/night cycles but fly-byes won't. They use nuclear decay as a power source on those longer missions. Cassini's lasted 20 years.

There is an address in the Owners Manual Bundle that explains that part of the Warranty and where to send the receipt to.

I'm waiting for someone to jump me, hoping it's the battery. I push the "push to start" button and the starter just clicks. Is this what everyone else is experiencing with a dead battery.

More than likely battery. Can't imagine a solenoid going that quickly.

    all tore up already
I'm convinced early 2000's Volvo batteries are things of legends. Tested one today, 2001 v70 original battery dated 07/00. State of health 78% charge 93%. I'm trying to delay a 2nd replacement on my taco in 3.5 years. But also think my charge system over charges my battery as I've never opened my hood and not seen top of battery wet and pos terminal covered in blue green corrosion. But Toyota says it's fine Haha. And screw agm, I've replaced plenty of those under 4 year 50k warranty to the tune of about $550 each. If you dont plan on relocating to inside cab, I wouldnt bother with agm for 2x the money. Just my .02. But cars today have electrical demands you just cant compare to previous cars. Most brand new volvos cant sit for 10 min powered without engine running or they go into battery save mode. Takes a lot of juice to power up 50+ computers and modules.
