I'm on 35s....I was saying I'm disliking them

Yep. Clutch blew up on me, must have caused some other internal damage as well. New Diff, New rear bearings, new driveshaft, new clutch and getting a baaaaaaad gear noise. Transfer case fluid looked pristine. Front Diff fluid looked fine. Didn't get to analyze the trans fluid since there was clutch material in it, who knows if gears are bad or just a seal. Rebuild is about the same price as just finding a used one and hoping its good.

Clutch material in your trans fluid? I thought you had a manual transmission?

Either it’s been a long day, or I am missing something here.

Huh. You're right. They said there there were flakes in the oil and it was pretty dark. I brain farted and just figured it was from the clutch. Blonde moment right there. Well, regardless, trans is about dead at this point. I tried to drive it to work the other day and got about a mile from the house before I turned around for fear of getting stuck on the side of the road when something in it failed. I'm guessing when the clutch died something internal failed at the same time.

In the photo you can see that without the trim ring, it’s just a plastic lens. The fasteners for the trim ring are a bevel recess for the countersunk holes in the trim rim. I fear(I know) that if I actually ran them down to the plastic lens, it will crack.

I ordered new trim rings, in the square form, so it will go well with the square cutouts on the new BAMF bumper.
