    She went to college with a bunch of my friends out here back in the day and stayed. Got setup by mutual friends when I came to visit them and ended up dating long distance while I was in Cali and her in AZ for almost 2 yrs.

    Been wanting to get down there. One big thing I've learned from the AZT is I have slept on Southern AZ the entire 22 years I have lived in the state. There is some really amazing stuff to see down there

    Totally agree. Southern Az sections are amazing. Really unique eco systems.
    Section 1 is one of my favorites.
    This year is so green . Water everywhere.
    We did 4.5 miles just outside of Bisbee ( easy day hikes) in the area.
    Ran into a very “excited” bee hive and turned around.lol

    I would pay special attention to the U-Bolts that attach your Axle to the Leaf Springs.
    OEM torque specs on these bolts is only 37 ft/lbs. (if my memory serves me) but many believe this to be a typo where the numbers were transposed and torque it to 73 ft/lbs.

    That is a very well known typo and the correct spec for them is 73 ft-lbs.

    And when you install - go back and check them shortly after install as they tend to want to loosen up after a “shakedown “.

    Just saw this. I was out this past weekend, my current setup is an OzTent RV5 an air mattress and the Backcountry bed duo. The tent and sleeping bag are awesome! I highly recommend both of them. The air mattress is meh but its temporary. Going to get a nicer pair of mattresses like you have eventually.
