Eh? That don't sound right either, must be really tired? Did you mean your van is a 3.7L? My old Integra with a 1.8L 4cyl took more oil than that (4.2 qts)

 

im going to run the shortest run of line i can and mount it in roughly the same spot as the tundra.. just like the ease of where that is, where you have it seems like a decent spot too

also keeps the lines lower than the factory spot, makes it cleaner to replace.

 

its roughly 5.8-6 quarts if you use the larger D3 filter

 

old toyotas didnt take much oil

 

My brothers 06 corolla takes 3.8 quarts or something weird like that

 

No 3.7 qts, atleast thats what i read on the van form.

I guess its a shallow oil pan? Idk.

 

But you would still have to remove the skid pan to replace the filter? I just place a rag under my filter & put a bag over the filter when I remove it from the top of the engine bay. No mess.

Oh duh, I forgot about about the Toyota van. I was thinking your work van & thought to myself, "why would he have to change his own oil on a fleet vehicle". Lol

i always remove the skid... keep and eye on things for leaks
