A bit anxious and nervious about the next week or so. Fires, fires and more fires.

i don't think i'm going to be able to drive my truck without being sad...my boyfriend, i guess i have to call him my ex now, is the reason i fell in love with trucks. life is just wonderful.

In the past two weeks, there've been 3 fires at Camp Pendleton. There's a fourth one up there now (Juliet Fire). It's small, at around 1,500 acres, but bad because it's still at 0% containment, and it's heading towards houses. Over 1,000 homes have been evacuated so far.

I'm about 20 miles south, so I'm not worried about this one, but you can still see a huge plume of smoke to the north.

Had a quick scare a few hours ago, too, 'cause a small fire erupted a few miles from me, but it was put out after reaching a single acre.
