    Not the same thing... Some people buy a tacoma with rims and lift off the lot, when really, they could have done it themselves and saved a ton of money. Programming channels isnt hard, but not everyone has the knowledge or motivation to do it themselves: Rugged is providing convenience and support, as well as put a profit on it to maintain and grow their business. They do a decent amount for the off-road world, and provide a ton of support, are at lots of events for on-site work (including relay services), and support the product after the sale. They aren't perfect (they had some issues squeezing out PCI in the past I believe), but still.
