Well I will tell you what I done I purchased some body side molding . It’s the same as I had put on my 16. So last night I get the idea in my head to go home after work and put it on . If that wasn’t t the dumbest thing I did in a few years. Well I am not going to take any photos I will just tell you it’s a little wavy in a few spots. My buddy that has a body shop down the street is going to correct it tomorrow. At that time I will snap a photo

That looks good! Mine are only 2 months old but seem a little duller. Maybe its the light or maybe my eyes. Love the wheels. I've have tried to keep wheel dressing off of it until using some wheel wax on them. Maybe Chemical Guys or Surf City Garage.

I'm back in the Tacoma game. Picked up a 2019 White TRD Sport 4X4 short bed yesterday! The lane departure assist is annoying...

Yeah, the Taco pro wheels look great but I tend to agree. I like the matte wheels design and color a little better. I bet they would look excellent on the voodoo blue pro too. You could probably make the swap and not lose too much cash. I bet your wheels fetch top dollar on the resale market. Trdparts4u has the 4Runner wheels for 4170 right now I think before shipping....

Do you know / remember how wide these work truck wheels are? I would think a 225 would pop a bead too easily on any wheel wider than 7 or 7.5 and these give the appearance of being pretty wide.

Believe it or not, I had to fight a Veloci[Ford Ranger]raptor to get the two side badges. The rear ones were my reward.

Jk I got the side emblems from @runnin4tacos. I think they got a sale rn on it btw

It's taken a while, but I finally came up with a solution.

Well, a couple months ago (I just couldn't wait any more) I installed the FJ Cruiser TRD Pro shift knob. I knew I would have to revisit the shift boot, and had been thinking about it ever since. In the mean time, I just zip tied the boot to the shaft:

    19-04-05 (19).jpg

Yes, it looks like a Walmart granny with her tee shirt tucked into her panties. It just wouldn't do. I also had to do something about that chrome nut (you know, the Toyota war on chrome and all, I had to stay faithful to the cause) I was going to derp the nut, but being eager to eradicate this evil silver stuff, I just slipped a piece of shrink tube over it and called it a day. I finally had an idea as I was dosing out some children's Tylenol to my son. I decided to use a medicine measuring cup to make a collar for the top of the shift boot. I cut a hole in the bottom (now top) of the cup, and cut some fender washers (for lack of a better term) out of a piece of EVA foam (harbor freight anti-fatigue floor mat that I purchased to shadow my tool box).

    19-04-28 (11).jpg
Then crammed it all together for a test fit:

    19-04-28 (12).jpg
    19-04-28 (15).jpg

Not perfect, but close enough. I then derped the plastic cup, used a little calk to hold it all together, sandwhiched the top of the boot between the two pieces of foam and pushed the cup over the whole thing. Yes, the humidity was high when I derped the cup, so I will probably redo it eventually. End result:

    19-04-30 (15).jpg
    19-04-30 (17).jpg

EDIT: All of you 3D printing geniuses, there's probably a market for a collar that would clip to the stock shift boot collar for anyone using an other than stock shift knob.
