Yeah, checked Amazon and saw them running $100+ so was curious if that was actually a "Good deal" or not.

They look new so wouldn't be a bad deal IMO.

Still don't get the point of these listing at $200+ and then be 75% off at $90. Trying to bait people into buying

Well yeah that's stupid. But that same set is like $98 on Amazon too. So usually when you see it so close on multiple retailers, it's pretty hard set price by the manufacturer.

Jeesh... Now the morons who steal shit and post it on Craigslist now are on TW.

*not saying that item in particular is, just looks like something that would be on Craigslist.

    *walks up to podium*
If you buy brand new tools on Craigslist, you are just as guilty as the thief that you are buying it from IMHO. And you are a big part of the problem.

How do you know they are stolen?

Used shit for sale can be just as likely stolen... no way to know.

Do you often go to the store, buy a $250 item and then sell it on Craigslist a day later for $220 because you "don't want to go to the store to get a full refund"

Where did that person say they didn't want to go back to the store for a refund? What if they bought it, it got buried and forgotten about and it's been too long and you can't return it anymore?

Could be... But there's a 99% chance new stuff is. But I guess I'm just not someone who would buy stolen shit to save a buck. Without buyers for stolen goods, there would be no stuff getting stolen, hence being just as guilty.

I'm not talking about that item in particular nor @bot102 for posting it.

Just a BS thread statement that the thread made me think of since it grinds my gears setting brand new in box tools listed on Craigslist all the time.

What? I wouldn't buy something if I knew it was stolen, but I'll buy something new or used to save. I've sold new things before that wasn't stolen. I just sold 2 pieces of plywood for half what I paid at home depot because I didn't need it. My loss is someone elses gain.

Without buyers for stolen goods things wouldn't be stolen? Highly doubt that man. I understand you're at guilt but you're only at guilt if you know it's stolen.

Lol I'm not saying everything unused is.

But, let me know when you are going to buy the $599 set of Dewalt 20v tools, then sell them in the parking lot the next day for $550... Since you're saying legit people do that often.

And clearly you don't understand why most people steal, it's usually not for personal use, it's to fence for money...whether drugs, alcohol, etc. So, if nobody bought what they stole, why would a crack head break into your car and steal your laptop. Fairly certain it's not to update his linked in profile.

Maybe they're working on their used sales techniques for a better job and then add to their linked in profile.

So you're saying I sold my plywood for drugs? lol Then again I'll probably buy beer with the cash so..

You're continuously picking and choosing select parts of my comments to get riled up. Are you training to be a politician?
