Anybody want to do a rear lift on my taco this weekend you can do all the work and I can drink beer and watch

 

I'd help if I wasn't going to Jambo. I installed my lift, by myself.

 

Seems like the past few SA CNC have been plagued with crappy weather leading up to the event. Hopefully the weather holds up and they don't cancel it

 

By the time you get back Chris will also be back and I can just take it to him

Know what you mean bud! Last meet between ATC and SATX was your March meet - my first SATX meet! I hope this goes off, because I really am hoping I have to miss the May 19 ATX meet to get to my sons graduation! We find out tomorrow. It's not like he won't get his Masters, but he has one course that his voice won't let him pass - we didn't give him those singing genes. I don't know why it's required (Sight read sing do re mi), but it is.

Shall we take a vote if I have to replace my body mounts should I replace them with this better stock ones or do a body lift while I'm already there

 

If you wanna do a bodylift, that's the time to do it. I've been thinking of doing a 1" bodylift, myself.

 

well when Chris did my front left he was flexing it at his house and my passenger side door wouldn't even open with the flexed and he was telling me that my body mounts might be shot

 

Could be. If he says so, then it's probably true. He knows our trucks better than anyone I've met.

 

Sprung for the $200 forever alignment since I'm not getting rid of the truck. It's already paid for itself.

That 1" helps with big tires, larger crawl boxes and anything else without heavy mods to the body and it's not so high to look crappy.

 

They are shot. You could tell in the pictures you posted while he was working on your truck

 

There's not a piece of rubber, that I haven't replaced, that is not shot on my truck.

 

Makes me wonder a little bit about mine. But I don't go to extremes, so will add to the list.

 

My truck spent more than half a decade in Vermont, there is a good amount of corrosion and all factory rubber is rotted.

 

Hardly noticable for me. If I've ever seen a taco with a 1" lift I didn't know it
