FJ Rims on a stock PreRunner???

Depends on the tire your running.

 

Stock sizes... sorry guys - I'm not a big off roader. The most off road action my poor truck will get is playing in the pasture. Most of the time will be spent pounding pavement for work.

 

U would be fine running FJ rims.

 

Sweet... now I just need some spare folding money. I'll have to keep an eye on Craigslist.

Thanks for the photos... they look awsome and I just need them even more. I'm up by Fort Worth - and I already crawled through Craigslist tonight and emailed a couple people. Lets see if I can find some within budget.

 

X2 Fjcuriserforums.com always has many sets of these for sale, you just need to wait and find one in your area.

Just for reference I bought a full set of 5 for $300 and that included some tires that still had about 15,000 mi of life left in them.

 

Thanks for the price reference, it seems that $3-400 seems to be normal depending on tire life.

My only other question now is that my truck (stock 06 PreRunner SR5) came with what size rims? (Its in the body shop right now - so now flinging poo for not knowing my rim size) All the FJ rims I am seeing seem to be 17" - so if I go from a 16" to a 17" I'm going to throw off my speedo/odometer right?

No, u just need to run the same overall size tire.

For instance if your Taco has 265/75/16's.....u would run a 265/70/17.

Goodyear Duratrac 265/70/17 they are a very popular tire and they have been great so far.
