Well for a while now I have wanted to go a different route for work and kind of wanted to get something in my degree area, and works been getting really old and idk being there for 2.5 yrs and getting paid what I got paid wasnt worth it. There was an incident where a few of us got "asked to leave" I said I quit before they got to the punch and me leaving was just a long time coming.

well funny story kinda. Tonight at around 2:45 am i got a call from my friend saying that another friend was stuck in ditch down the street in a neighborhood and needed me to pull him out. when i got there the cops were already there. long story short he got either a DUI or minor in consumption. hopefully the second one...

so for this guy it was a lesson learned the hard way. don't drink and drive.

the worst part was the cops wouldn't let me pull his jeep out due to "liability" reasons. i kind of understand that. but the likelyhood of my pulling off one of his tires trying to pull him over a curb was sooooo low. i've seen good recoveries in spots way worse than that. :(

That sucks man, but the cops probably did you right as god forbid they come back after you for damage to the vehicle when he gave the 'ok' while under influence or some crap. If you know them I doubt they would but, the cops have to make a blanket rule.

yah like i said. i understand why they wouldn't let me pull him out. but i know that nothing would have happened.

it was kinda funny when i proved to the cop i knew more about recoveries than he did (wasn't trying to be a jerk to him, just trying to convince him i could pull out the jeep) but i told him it was just the combination of small worm tires and an open rear diff. so all the power was going to the tires in the dirt. if i pulled him out either way it wouldn't have a problem going over the curb. he was just stuck due to loss of traction......it didn't get me very far
