    Nope. I work tomorrow night.

Tonight I Van Lady out for her birthday dinner at a goddamned expensive fancy Italian restaurant. Food was phenomenal as always... but her drink was 99% ice. It was a phenomenal drink, but she finished it and had an entire glass of ice left.

My drink was water and it could have used more ice.

Don't get any extra cash for it, just goodwill.

I gotta admit, I sign up sometimes just so we won't be short staffed. I actually enjoy my coworkers.

That's cool. We get to work all alone on the weekends (except a bunch of nurses:rolleyes:) Third shift is always minimally staffed.

I'll never understand that. The numbers show we see just as many as day shift does in our ER yet we have fewer people here.....docs included. We go down to 1 doc and 1 NP at 3am until 9am.
