Just installed one myself got a smoking deal otherwise wouldn't have bothered. But now that I have it I honestly recommend them, the only difference between this and the factory airbox is:

    1. Reusable filter
    2. Much smaller resonator (I'd estimate 70% smaller)
    3. doubles the opening of the fender "velocity stack" thingy

The sound is intoxicating they did a really good job acoustic wise, for most people (myself included) that is enough to get one.

Performance wise people say theres zero difference but I don't see how thats possible. The ONLY reason a resonator is installed in the first place is to make it silent (by adding resistance), by massively decreasing that resonator chamber and opening up the velocity stack that plugs through the fender you're going to increase throttle response and power at some level as there's smoother air flow and less resistance at the cost of increased sound (sound that we actually LIKE).

Anyways I feel slightly better throttle response and power but of course could just be a placebo effect, the physics makes sense to me though so either way I now give a thumbs up to the TRD intake :)

Good deal on this one too.

    Thanks for the input @Jaque8

The throttle response is noticeably better with the intake

Since taking it off, I can feel the difference in response. And my RPM does rev slightly higher from a dead stop

Can't believe this is still not sold. Just installed mine last weekend and I can say there is really a difference in the throttle response.

I'm from Cali, rest of my 40+ member family is still over there Haha.

We still visit a lot, was there last weekend and already have two more flights planned. Love Texas but being separated from Family sucks.

Maybe one day I can convince enough of my family members to move to other states and then I could have my own TW BST network going on lol
