    Oh yea ,spent 6 hours turkey hunting this morning. It’s been about 15 years . You can only hunt until noon because hens will be nesting . It’s fun ,but my back hurts from sitting so low to the ground with my back up against a tree :oops: even with the proper cushioning . Heard and saw 4 toms and a bunch of juveniles and some hens . No luck yet .

    Mostly hunted Pheasant back Home. Only time I was drawn to hunt in the Park was for Turkey. Was a good hunt but after roastin, simmerin', & stewin' with a 2X4. I ended up eatin' the 2x4. Far more tender than that Pine Needle eatin' bird would ever get. Disappointing! :pout:

    I take the breast meat ,that’s it . You can marinade it or use a dry rub then I throw it on the grill . It’s not pure white meat but it’s close .
