I wonder if the cars sustain damage on blocks like that. Wheels and tires can be replaced, but body work could get crazy expensive... Damn.

 

I don't know but you gotta have some brass balls to pull something like this off.

Anyway, my bet is that if these wheels were mags, they'll be resold as scrap metal for the $$$ then the tires will be resold on craiglist or whatever for another profit

Apparently it took 2 guys several hours to jack up these cars and trucks to remove the wheels and tires then about 40 minutes to load them all into a uhaul truck.

 

According to the story it appears they’re professionals. They manipulated the security system, surveillance, locks and even the exterior lighting so they could work in the dark.

 

Like Tacoma, Chevy are 6x5.5, just sayin’. I might be sportin’ some Impala rims with 37s

my local scrap yard gives about $5 per wheel, plus your tire sales, but they must have a tire machine at home to dismount to save on costs.....

 

Doubt there gonna scrap that many wheels at one time. “No red flag here but I’d like to scrap 40 sets of impala wheels if ya don’t mind”
