Leer cap and rusted out roof rack
Hey everybody first time poster long time lurker. Just wondering if you guys have any advice for my 16 Tacoma sport. Leaf springs seem to be ready to almost touch the ground at this point.I quite often load up the truck with gear. I do catering as well as farming so I'm always carrying quite a bit of weight as well as a cap and a roof rack not to mention kids and passengers. Looking to get the leaf springs fixed or upgraded so that I can carry more weight with ease. Should I get rid of this truck or are there some options I can do to make it worthwhile? Don't really have too much money I was quoted 935 to fix the leaf springs add an extra leaf on each side and put some other dodads on there. I surely miss my old Hilux from Australia. Thanks for the help!

    Welcome!

Sounds like new leaf springs are the way to go. Cheaper and better solution than what the shop quoted you.

Air bags will be your best bet if you often have heavy loads, they allow you to add lots of weight without adding lift. Firestone Ride rite is a popular version.
