Do they do the check at temp procedure too? Read a lot about trucks coming under the desired fluid level from factory. Meaning if it was low to start and they replaced only what was removed ......

Oh there will be some mods all right
Found out that between my Vlair, and 3 Tire gauges I have, every single one says a different PSI :frusty: Vlair was really off. Thought I aired back up to 31 PSI and all tires were at 25 according to one tire gauge 23 on another, and 22 on the last......

OME 886 coils, OME EL096R HD leaf springs and Total Chaos UCAs DONE! Overall lift 3 1/4". The Westin brush guard, Bulletproof Fabricating skid plate, front & rear bumpers will come off in July to be replaced with Mobtown plate bumpers and Smittybuilt X20 Comp Series10k winch. When the KO2s wear down a bit more I will replace the stock (265/65R17) tires with 275/70R17s. Clearance is fine for this size change. Stock tires look tiny now!3 inch lift.jpg

If you haven't already, you might want to cut down the u-bolts enough to ensure bottoming the bumper doesn't allow frame contact with the bolts. If you suspect you might need pinion shims for prop shaft angle alignment to combat drivetrain vibes, you might want to leave some threads for that possibility. It's hard to tell from this angle if they are above the bottom edge of the elastomer bumper.

I was concerned but I'm really surprised and happy with the ride. I had already removed the sway bar and now, after changing from the 885s to the 886s, there is nearly ZERO dive in abrupt turns. Its stiffer than it was, but it's now truck firm and not the plush road car ride of stock or even the 885s which were awesome. The EL096R HDs are great too. And this is all before the bumpers get swapped and winch installed. Love it!

I had the same experience when i put 886s and Dakar HDs on. Took the sway bar off and never looked back. Handled just like my Honda lol

Sure didnt. I asked yesterday about that and the tech said the machine didnt need to do it at temp....he put in a certain amount, didnt appear to be based on how much came out since he poured the new fluid into the machine before starting. The machine is powered off the truck so the truck was running to pump the fluid through. Not sure if that would have gotten it to temp. There was no measurement at the end either...so im hoping the amount he put in was correct.

Usually, the pump system plugs inline with the transmission cooler lines and uses the transmission line pressure to pump the old fluid out, and refill from another reservoir in the flush unit. So if it's low to start, it'll end low unless the tech tops it off correctly. Some of those trans flush units can pump just fluid without removing fluid from the system, but they're not that common (read more expensive)

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
How does it compare to other setups ride wise?

The seller told me that the Dobinson complete kit is smoother than the Old Man Emu.
But, you're right, little info about....
