Ha it’s true. I actually have a DIY 3/4 spacer in there now. I tried the 1” and my head touches. 3/4” is perfect and so much more comfortable!

Installed 1" spacers a couple weeks ago, made a very noticeable difference. Wasn't expecting to sense that much of a change. When the girlfriend first got in the truck when it was new, the first thing she said was , "this seat doesn't feel right". She even noticed a difference after installing them. Painted them black and found hardware at boltdepot as well. Thanks!

They have all been done since Saturday afternoon or so. My shipping dept came through today, so they are all boxed up and ready to go out tomorrow.

Everyone would have tracking info already, but there was no internet at work today. Will take care of that in the morning, and they will reach the post office by 4pm (Eastern) tomorrow. Tracking #'s will go out before lunch though.

Man. I’m interested in trying some half inch ones if you ever make more. Sad I missed this. Trying anything to make my seat livable.

Go for it, I just unlocked the order form

I'll take on as many orders as I can comfortably produce in 2 weeks, because that is about when I will need my Mill open for other obligations.

You can always test with a stack of washers to be sure. Unless you are very tall and/or with a moon-roof 1" is the most common selection.

It was a rustoleum product. I don't remember exactly which one.

Really like the idea and design. I decided to see if I could make a set out of Delrin.
Got it roughed out still need to finish it but so far seems like it will work great! They're 1" thick. I'll give it a shot to see if that's too tall? Gotta clean it up and find bolts long enough. But if it works cost me less than $20 for a complete set, and I still have enough material to make another set. My only concern is that Delrin might not hold up in the long run? But the material is actually really sturdy. I'm sure it will last a several years. Considering the seat see very little dynamic stress it shouldn't wear at all if any.
