Now would be a good time to get a noid light set and see if the injection pulse is good on #4 or if you have an oscilloscope you can watch the peak and hold current ramp to tell if it's opening

You have headers? Or maybe a huge boost leak (injector seals love to piss away boost)

I'd run the urd pod holder that goes on the steering wheel before a pillar mount pod. They almost never point the right way anyways

Yep I have one, it only lasts 24 hours though.

The title place who I got it from conveniently didn't fill out the date on it so I can use it whenever I want.

Damn they only last 24 hours? It can take a hundred miles or more to complete the emissions cycle.. that's nuts.

Yeah, the guy purposely didn't fill out the date on the permit for me and said "If you get pulled over, just say you forgot to fill in the date."

If you look up what the ECU demands it really doesn't take that long. Like the o2 readiness on my taco takes 8mins below 33mph 10mins above 33 but below 55 and must be fully warmed up before those times count down. Just know what the ECU wants and you can do a drive to set the entire "drive cycle"

You can also request up to five of those permits at a time. My buddy bought a 1986 300zx with 9k miles because for 28 years all the guy would do is take it for a day or two on permits, never registered it fully.

Oh yeah I remember now...on that show Dirt Every Day they couldn't get his 84 4x4 pickup smogged in time for the filming of the show so they got 5 daily smog exempt permits so they could go on the trip lol

2.2 should be making about 8 if I remember correctly. Currently I’m in Phoenix.
No headers. Wouldn’t that also be a vacuum leak when it’s not in boost?

I'll have to look into the URD one. I will most likely be getting a second CravenSpeed Belmont mount to match the other one my Supercharger came with.

No quite often leaks only present themselves under boost, it could happen in vacuum but a lot of stuff can take a pound or two either way before leaking and vacuum tends to suck things closed.

    Damn. That's something.

Doubt you can do something like that anymore, CA started issuing temporary plates starting this year.

I realized it's next to impossible to find the California CARB exempt stickers, and the belt routing diagram doesn't even exist so I made my own in Photoshop.

Also made this for the fuel door.

Is the valve cover tube seal leaking onto the plug causing it to fowl?
