Part of that is from increased plenum volume i believe and not necessarily the increased length of runners.
There are no presets. @JustDSM is providing a tune though you can purchase. Otherwise it gives full control over a variety of parameters.

The mvpi2 has to be connected to the laptop to authorize you as a paid user.
It does not have to be connected to the vehicle so you can take your laptop and mvpi2 to work and play all day!

Also, currently running JustDSM's v1 tune till the weekend to get a baseline, truck is running good, feels more peppy and responsive for sure. Then going to switch to his v1 with some adjustments to VVTi angles probably on Sunday.

I am working currently on some changes to trans shift points to essentially raise shift points of lower throttle openings by 3-5mph, as well as alter when 5th lockup occurs. (To try and mitigate some hunting while driving around at slower speeds).

Im a little curious about the 5 windows on the left in the picture below (found under the general tab of torque converter). Weird to see a negative value for Hot mode disable trans temp. This is the only way I can make sense of the apply/release tables pictured. Looks like they define the trans temp limp mode value? Currently under normal running only 4th and 5th will lockup. But "Normal Hot" allows lockup in 3rd as well (2nd gear values all have driveshaft speeds that far exceed what 2nd gear will ever be able to do) and all the values in the hot tables (Normal hot, Normal Hot D3/D2 are all the same) are at a lower output rpm than Normal.... meaning it wont let as much heat build in limp mode.

Am I thinking about this wrong? I feel as though there are still "missing" tables within the auto trans, as mentioned above the adaptive functions as well as "cold" functions, I know the trans wont do torque converter lockup at all and may not even shift to 5th when real cold.

I want the trans to kickdown faster out of 5th. If I manually shift to 4th before I pin the throttle I’m happier. Can we do that?

Yes, we can. You would need to change the 5-4 shift scheduling.

I install the latest beta pretty much every day. Full release is at 4.4.1. Newest beta is 4.5.3 I think.

For the AT guys with 4-5 shift flare, I did a log and captured the flare twice yesterday. It occurred at around 3300 RPM and 17% throttle angle. I added 10% to these cells and so far I have not experienced it again. Will continue to monitor it for the next few days.

Nice work! Do you have a shift kit installed such as the ratiotek? I very rarely get the flare these days but every once in a while... I'll give this a try too.
An idea I keep thinking over is installing a larger diameter intake tube (I have no need to keep things looking factory) one that matches the tundra intake in diameter. By doing that, in theory couldn't we use our factory maf sensor and have it recalibrated to tundra spec??? At which point I would mate it up to a tundra 76mm throttle body to match it, then the urd 76mm adapter. With some port/polishing on the supercharger intake too. looking for a wiser mans thoughts on it.

10% is kinda huge, you may want to consider doing some interpolation around that. But glad you got it sorted!

I the fully built transmission and torque converter from IPT.

    This:
    https://www.importperformancetrans.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4343

Plus this (except with stock stall speed):
    https://www.importperformancetrans.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2163

As far as the intake, I’m running the stock air cleaner with an AFe drop in dry filter. Not sure if I’ll ever go back to a bigger intake.

I started with 5% and it still did it a little bit so I bumped it up to 10% and it seems to be cleared up. It may surprise me later on and do it again, but so far so good.
    :fingerscrossed:

Did you remove any of the baffles in the stock intake, or the charcoal filter? I have been considering going back to the stock air box to tame some of the noise the supercharger generates. I feel like it cannot be worse performance than my afe with the Donaldson filter.

@HPTuners as far as the software goes, does the full release and beta have different forks / version numbers. Or is the Full release of 4.4.1 the same as Beta 4.4.1?

Good grief. I installed once and left it alone. I still glance back to shore from time to time. You're paddling away!

I took out the charcoal filter, but didn't modify anything else.

When I had the AFe installed I did a log with the ProDry filter and the Donaldson filter back to back. I don't remember the difference in MAF flow, but the Donaldson was noticeable more restrictive.

    previous full was 4.2.12
    previous beta was 4.3.6
    current full is 4.4.1
    current beta is 4.5.3

Not sure what their version number methodology is, but there's a pattern in there somewhere! Easiest thing to do is just download full or beta from their website.

I check for new versions everyday because I'm always looking in there for that load calculation table to be added. @HPTuners ;)
